DAoC Character Copier Tutorial
Step 0: Please make sure that your Dark Age of Camelot Game application is sitting at the Character Selection Screen. If you are logged into a character and try to copy that character, the game will over right your copied character file.
If your DAoC is sitting at the Character Selection Screen, proceed to Step 1:
Starting the Character Copier:
Step 1: Click Start -> Programs -> DAoC Chat Fixer -> DAoC Chat Fixer, and Select which function you would like to perform.
-----: After selecting the "Start DAoC Character Copier" button, the Character copier Function will open.
Step 2: Select the 'Select Server to Copy Char from:' and select which server your character is on and click 'Pull Char Files'.
Step 3: When you see the Select character list populate with Character names, please select the character you wish to use as a model to Copy.
Step 4: Now that we have a model character to copy selected it is time to select which server to copy the character to. Select the Server from the 'Select Server to Copy Char to:' dropdown list.
Step 5: Now that the Server is selected to Copy your Character file to, it is time to select the Copy mode from the copy mode Dropdown list. There are 2 options, 'Copy a Character' and 'Rename and Copy a Character File'. The default is 'Copy a Character'. Select the option you wish to use.
Step 6: If you choose to Copy the character file with the same name, simply click the "Copy Character File" button and you are done. As Seen Below!!
If you Choose to rename the Character and Copy, skip to Step 7 please. If you choose to copy using the same name, skip to Finished!
!!!!!! Warning, all Copy functions WILL overwrite an Existing Character file with the same name on the server Selected, Proceed with Caution !!!!!!
Step 7: If you would like to Rename your Character file before copying it, select that 'Rename and Copy Character File' option and type the new name that you want the character being copied to have. Now you are ready to Copy the newly named character file, click the 'Copy Character File' button and you will see that the file was copied to the server you selected. As Seen Below!

Finished: Now that you have copied your characters to the selected server, you are now ready to log in and check out the new copied character setup.
